pipex dial up - confused?? puzzle for sumone.

hey, im just looking into gettin dial up for a m8. (she cant have braodban atm)

im going with pipex as they are highly reliable.

but looking on their site at the packages... im confused

all i want is a 24/7 unlimited dial up connection, so i went to the link:

it has 12.75... then under it is 87,75 MONTHLY? wtf.

can anyone work out wtf she would be paying per month.

obviously its only gonna be a few quid... but what are them other prices for?

Bloody hell 128k for �90 a month ??? lmao thats expensive. I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole if thats their current prices

the �87 is for a guarenteed connection.
the standard connection may not always connect.

thats the thing.. its not, and they are a cheap company.

thats why i cant make head nor tail of their price system lol.

@clarky... ahh i see m8, i thought the 1:1 mite have summin to do with it lol.

so for a basic 24/7 'iffy' connection is 12.75 a month yeh? :nowords:

pay that much extra for a guraenteed connection?

they must be mad...

I can't think of a time when I wa on freeserve or BT that my connection was not guarenteed, maybe I was lucky or something but they make it sound like getting on the net is a bitch.

) and they promt me at the end, "sorry we dont accept electron" lmao...

boo, sounds like you're a bit restricted here.

just give her one of your old phones and setup GPRS via the pc...isn't it about as fast? and on a free o2 sim it'd be free...
