Best Alarm System
Has any one got any suggestions/prices for the best alarm for my 04 plate Astra GSi.
Would like autostart features and turbo timer. Have looked at the cliffard Solarus and concept but open to suggestions.
Also anyone recomend good installers in the W.Yorks area.

Tbh I aren't a fan of cliffords, we've had a fair few problems with them at work.
We use a very good mobile installer in West Yorkshire, his number is 07970 780389 and his name is Craig. His company is called Car Audio Design.
He does have a website, but I don't have it on my home pc and can't remember its addy.
He's a top bloke and will advise you what you need and prices m8.

the new astra has a can bus system and is an absolute nightmare to add an alarm to, would look at the Autowatch 375 clam unit which adds on to your existing remote control to upgrade to an alarm, as for the remote start option you have problems in the respect of the transponder immobiliser fitted to the vehicles ecu, while some manufacturers offer a " way round this" IMHO why remove a good immobiliser for the sake of convienience, and whos convienience is it yours to warm your car up on a cold morn or a thiefs that your car is now 100 times easier to steal
