And??? You only need to go online to register it. If you want the updates ditto but if you are just playing the SP game why bother?

i dont play it online either

cause the game rocks in single player aswell

as online

Half Life 2 is superb, slightly better than doom3, playing online is very challenging and often embarassing(i'm so shight)

well worth the money. As a side note i had to buy an audigy2 card to play the sp, my frame rates were dire with the onboard a7n8x-delux.

strange, i guess it depends on your graphics card... i've got nforce2 mb as well (abit nf7-s v2 - pretty much the same as the yours) and it runs perfectly.

If you are a big FPS fan you will know it is the dogs. If you don't like aliens don't buy it.

Login to your Steam account - make sure the tick box to remember your account details is selected... or unselect the option to not save your account details.... quit steam and restart when offline - it should throw a window saying it can't connect to Steam and give you the option to start in offline mode.
