alright guys, just wondered if anybody knows the best way to get into working as a tv extra? me and my mate were just talking about it and would fancy a go but dont know how to go about it:nowords:

What Can I Expect to be Paid?


Each production is different and therefore, depending on the type the rates and fees will be slightly different.

Hidden Faces will negotiate your actual rate of pay on your behalf - as we take a percentage of your pay as our fee for providing you with the work, we will always endeavour to get you the best rate possible. However, we can not guarantee work.

A mate of mine has an old MGB and a Mk 1 Fiesta that he takes to film/tv shoots. They pay him £90 per day per car just to drive them to the shoot and drive them home. LOL..If it rains they even valet them for him ! (I dunno what agency he's with)

no wonder the TV license is so much, £64,10 to be a background artist (which to me means stand there and say 'rabble' or 'rhubarb' great )
