    Default Which Programmer for ***

I have a **** digibox that has been working, but obviously with the key changes only a few working channels remain.

Could anyone tell me the best value card programmer, which will allow me to fix my card/box whenever the keys change, and the best place to buy from (quicker the better )

    Thanks!

Depends on what card type or types you intend to try and program, if it's just a funcard then many people just use the £7 cheap programmer with a program like FunProm.

Middle of the range is the MinSDK as pointed out above, this will do FUNs, ROMs and with a slight mod also do TIT's. The MiniSDKs around £25.

At the top of the range I suppose are the Infinity USB Phoenix type programmers, normally cost around £40+

I use the £7 programmer from Tailor Made and its fine for updating funs. If this is all you need if for then look no further. Its basic, but its only £7.

    [QUOTE=simeday]Have you read the policy:

    2) Do not mention a satellite or cable provider by their Trading Name, Advertised Name or Commonly Referred To Name.[/QUOTE

To be fair the original thread was started 3 weeks ago, before the policy was intoduced it was the new post added that brought this thread to pop back up, maybe the older threads with such quotes or comments need to be closed to stop them being re raised.

as above the 7 pound is ideal for funs but i myself prefer the dynamite

regardless of what you get every fun programmer is easy to use

even the infinity usb is very very east that almost anyone can do it very quickly

The ones from jabs supposedly do but I can't get it to work with the ones with planets on and i've tried all ways with the various tuts that are knocking about.

If you intend to do any other type of cards in the future then it's worth considering the other programmers listed in this thread above and beyond the £7 progger.

£7 programmer from TMC and £7 programmer from Jabs, can both program FUN's and ATMEGA's.

You can program both planet and face ATMEGA's with no problems with these programmers.

That said, the methods of programming differ slightly for FUN's and ATMEGA's. IE: FunProm software to program the FUNS, and FunApollo & I2CProg for ATMEGA's

Some people say you can use FunProm for ATMEGA's too, but I can only confirm the face ATMEGA's worked using FunProm.

id recommend you buy a infinity phoenix usb like said above the 7pound may be cheap and cheafull but may not be future proof like the more advanced programmer your call at the end of the day, and cosidering most help guides and step by step guides are based on either a dynimaite or infinity programer your less likely to have problems as most people use these programers so theirs always help at hand
