They don't just look for the changed BIOS (mod Chip) infact, I'm sure they changed tactics a bit ago.

They look more now for any modified files on your hard drive like replacement Dashboards, traces of things like EvoX dash etc.

If you want to get on Live you should keep your Xbox hdd in an original Retail state... use something like Slayer's Evo X to do a factory restore and see how u get on.

You could have been banned I guess, I wouldn't know what that screen looks like, as I use a totally unmodded box for all Live stuff.

I've been using live with no probs with evox installed.

Maybe you forgot to flip the switch on the chip.

that's not been proven.. loads of people use LIVE with evox on their HDD..

the majority of people who have been banned rece***y have had a bigger HDD.

you can also be banned if your turn your mod off and reboot to fast.
i know people who have done it. the modded bios is still loaded due to it being in the XBOXs memory. you can easily check by making sure it boots in to evox but people are lazy.

If you signed up to live before modding your xbox and then switched your hard drive to another one you will get banned. Microsoft logs serial numbers, eeproms, and motherboard info if you change anything after signup same bbye

there is no hdd scanning as its illeagle without a warent as your hardrive may contain private files, they do however do what blanka said as i have 2 boxes, i use live with my xecuter3 and my 250gb hdd am im fine, also get a decent chip like a x3 it will give a dns error if running hacked bios 2 prevent the console connecting 2 live
