Winamp 5.05

I have recently installed this to use as a mp3 to wav converter, but instead of converting the files it plays them. How do I change the settings so that it will convert mp3 to wav?

I have looked through the options and on nullsofts webpage but cannot find where or how I do it.

Not in front of Winamp right now, so I can't give you exact directions.

However, go in to the sound output options and select the Nullsoft Disk Writer as the output device.
