pleased for liverpool, they deserved it the most over the 2 legs. no one respects chelski after buying their way into it, arsenal were well beaten, man u game could have gone either way but no complaints

I thought Liverpool played well and deserved the win. I actually thouht that they would attack when they got the chance. A few people must have thought they would just sit back and defend the lead they had.

I know Liverpool had the so-called easiest opponents in the draw,,, but still,,, a win is a win and into the draw we go. :thumbs :thumbs

    Congrats to "The Pool"

I personaly feel that l'pool are very overrated and are still living on the memory of past achievments, the sooner they are out of this competition the better i think!!!

I know that's what everyone thought, but they aren't a bad team at home - they beat Real Madrid 3-0 and that's not bad going

Still - the important thing is we stuffed em

Either liverpool v chelski next round, or we'll meet and beat them in the final
I am a loud man with a very large hat. This means I am in charge

Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

I think you'll find that there's a whole lot of respect for Chelsea after (and before) the match against Barcalona. You can't buy spirit and determination like that!

Soon to be 4th when we kick your asses and steal 4th spot off you.

How i would love it if we won the CL and came 5th! You would not have CL footy after having you best season for about 20 years!

I seem to remember a merseyside team who finished 7th in the prem and brought out a DVD called "The magnificent seven"

But never mind eh' it's your cup final next week when you all "mong" your way through Stanley Park for your visit to Anfield the home of Englands most successful football team.

Liverpool will never be the european or premiership force that thier fickle supporters think they are until they actually get behind their team and support them on a regular basis instead of chopping and changing their minds about Rafa Benderboy!!!!!!!!!!

Someone above mentioned chelsea don't get much respect as they bought their team..im not a chelsea fan, but a newcastle fan, but have the people who dont respect chelsea not heard of the transfer market? All teams buy players, just chelsea bought loads in a short period of time. The really didnt need to, as they were second last season, and were a force to be reckoned with.

would love to see them win the cl..or liverpool, but i dont think they are good enough this season..although i do think they will be top 3 next season with cisse back, and the way the spaniards are playing it does look promising.

Everton are having a good season - i dont think it will happen again, as they havent got a strong enough squad. Gravesson is doing alright in madrid, saw his first goal a few weeks back -good free kick.
