Idoesn't matter how you win - it's the result that counts.
Spurs should have had a penalty at the end, but the only thing that will be rememberd tomorrow is the result.

Same old Spurs, spend 5hit loads of cash and win nothing!!! :tongue

Souness has certainly turned things around at Newcastle. Should play Milner more, the kid has exceptional talent.

With all these class strikers we seem to have stopped scoring... boot out Atouba the Clown and Carrick for Edman and Davis.

The strikers seem to be living on there reputations especially Robbie Keane and Freddi Kanoute (who i havent seen play well for a while)

Jol is a sensible man and a clever manager, so why the hell start Atouba ! ! he is not a footballer he looks like a boxer, he is so infuriating because he is so slow, and tries fancy flicks and turns in our own box, which never come off !.

We need to start pulling it together and winning some games if we are going to get into europe, you can only blame referees so much ! good teams always win games with or without decisions going there way. I mean some of our finishing and crossing left a lot to be desired.

I actually think that Kanoute has been playing supurb and when he plays well we play well. If you look at a majority of Defoe's goals, Kanoute has the assist. Keane is just lazy and hates playing a holding role. Doesnt tackle or try for headers and has played like that since he was offered to Man City as part of a deal for Wright-Phillips... He will be off in the summer as we are being linked with more strikers. Unfortunately the word is that Mendes will be off in the summer aswell, pity as I think he is better than Carrick by a long way.

I am not Kanoutes biggest fan never have been i think he is to laboured and doesnt show enough commitment, plus i havent totally forgiven him for that hand ball against liverpool in the Carling Cup Q-Final.

I think Mido is a better target man, hes lively, sharp, pacey and more hungry to do well and prove himself than Kanoute. Defoe also plays better when Mido is partnering him. Its a shame we could lose Mendes as i think he brings balance to the team, but i do like Carrick he adds a bit of creativity to the midfield. I think once everyone is fit it will be difficult to keep everyone happy especially with so many midfielders.

We need a bit more strength at the back this is where jol needs to make his next buys, left and right backs, even thou, noe noe noe will not let you go paramot has done better last few games, he still struggles a bit against pacey strong wingers.
