    Info Re: I broke it

    Sorry!

I Shouldn't laugh at your misfortune of being "ripped off" for 24 quid,
And then blowing the arse out of it!

    Throw it away! yes really!

If you want to try buying another "scanner" look for summit with a name like Realistic or Bearcat, but remember that you can't listen to the Police anymore.
Please don't waste yer money, do some research about what the "scanner" covers! (what you could here)
A good scanner that covers loads of stuff would cover 0-1300 mhz
1.remember- the scanner is only as good as its ariel/twig
2.1000 channels means the amount of frequency's you can program to scan (basically a load of bollocks) (the more you scan the more you'll miss)

A good bargain buy would be either a Realistic pro-2035 (home base) or Realistic pro-43 (mobile). These are proper "scanners" unlike the "radio" you bought.
I have a similar radio to the one you blew up, and although usefull it is "not" a proper scanner.

If you see summit you think might be usefull for scanning, post here for an opinion before ye pay.....

Some police forces have now switched over to digital communications so you can no longer listen in. Do a search on google and you'll see what I'm talking about.
