Yea i know that but my company for instance i have had a few people from DF approaching me about jobs in Gibraltar. So i think it might be a nice addition to DF

I think this is a good idea. Especially when we can get views from people arleady working for that company. Also if the vacancy happens to be abroad.

Also, if we have people on the forums who have become friends, a lot of companies have the "recommend a friend" scheme, which gives the opportunity for additional earnings.

I was thinking along the lines of a business forum. A place where you could put what your industry is, and if you are able to help other members.

Example: I might be a web designer, and I could put what I do in the forum, and if anyone was after my services, they could search in this forum.

This could also work for jobs and opportunities.

erm yeah, get this forum up and running. I think the generic idea of a business forum would be great.

People wanting to put ideas across to other members/wanting/needing help with business needs or in other instances job postings.

Yep, I agree great idea - services for hire / situations wanted / vacant etc - I do actually think that's a cracking idea now I think about it. Just needs to be under one main heading really, and can cover jobs on offer, people offering their services and what not - I'm in.

also how about trading skills? e.g. a joiner wants his car fixing and it just so happens a mechanic needs a few doors in his house hanging....etc.

I will also add my support to this idea, I have previously posted vacancies for jobs at my work in the D&D, and yes there are specialist websites for this sort of thing, but its nice if your mates on DF can give you a bit of heads up when jobs are available, and some inside info too.
