    Default football derbies

well this may have been discussed before but as i'm still a newbie please bear with me. I was wondering what you lot think is the bitterest derby and which is the nicest derby. I personally have been to a few involving portsmouth and southampton which can be very hostile. what i cant understand is the desire for your opponents to be relegated. I work with a few southampton supporters and the banter is great but to see them relegated (or us ) would only take away that twice yearly bragging rights.

Our (Cardiff) derby is Swansea and I wouldn't give a fuck if the entire city fell into the sea, never mind the club being relegated. Pikey knobheads.

I hate Forest and will love it when they are relegated. A cup draw is all I want to see of them.

I support the Vale. Whenever we play stoke city there is trouble. We haven't lost to them in just over 12 years though so we have got a reasonably good record against them.

I do like it when Birmingham and villa play, always a riot or somethin goin on after.

Remember last year i think? They played, and 100's of fans were roaming the streets of brum city centre just to start a fight, i watched these 40 odd villa fans absolutely trash this poor bloke just because he was a birmingham supporter, wasnt very nice to watch

Forest v Derby is pretty bitter. Derby are sheep shaggin scum. The rivalry goes way beyond the football pitch. Lots of fighting after the game this year and the sheep even set fire to our Lloyds bar!

aye, but its generally the same sort of lot who look for fights after every match (well, it is on our side). most of the 'normal' supporters just hate derby, the odd thing kicks off but mainly its those that organise shit before

Theres always the big ones like Rangers v Celtic, Man U v Man City, Liverpool v Everton. To be fair, each set of supporters is gonna claim that their derby match is full of the most hatred
