Went to an official Nokia service centre in Northampton today to get my 7610 sorted. It keeps dropping it's signal, has a fu(ked number 3, and also a fu(ked number 9.
Turn up at the crack of sparrows to make sure I get in because they close at 12 (lazy bassets!) and they tell me that they are going to try and fix it by flashing the firmware and replacing the plastic board where the keys are.
Hour and a half later I turn up and it's all done. All of the phone memory is a gonna, contacts, messages.. kaboom :grr: This wasn't too much of a bother (got another phone with contacts on, messages were a pi$$er though), made a phone call to some random free information line that O2 have and everything seemed peachy (the 3 and 9 buttons were fixed!) until 12 (shop closed now), when it all went tats up!
Now the phone crashes and reboots itself whenever it feels like it, it STILL has it's signal problem (can only presume it's hardware related) and the Nokia software decided to wipe the 7600's contact list as I try to copy it's contacts over to my 7610.
I'm to have to wait until next Saturday now to take my phone in to the service centre, unless I take a day off work, to be told that it's going to be sent away and I'll be without a phone for a fortnight or so.... AGGGHGHGHHGHGH
Anyway, off to the football now - Rushden v Yeovil - hopefully my luck won't follow me to the ground :tongue
