Doom 3 ROE

I 'got ' the new expansion pack for Doom 3, resurrection of evil earlier today. Rooted out my Doom 3 cds and reinstalled it followed by the expansion pack and thought great here we go.

Fired it up and changed my settings for controls, resolution, detail etc and jobs a good un. Started a new game and it just hung after the first bit of the intro. Have tried numerous times since and never got that far till I have had to press the reset button as it hangs at the loading screen, sometimes after I change the settings and restart the app and occasionally if I fart. There are no error messages just a stone cold freeze.

Anyone else had any success?

works just fine here.. the initializing menus screen upon start sometimes seem to hang but after a short fart it works

Got hold of it the other day and it's running no problem.
