    Tech 44/Hr/80GB HDD

    ref:- to the above tiltle, I have 44/Hr/80GB HDD and it is full now and I do not want

    to erase anything from the HDD , therefore I need to replace it with a new one , but

    I need large capacity than 80 GB , what is the latest in HDDs for larger capacity ?

    theres loads of sizes ive seen a few decently priced 300Gb deals (mostly on US web sites)

    theres a few differnt sites that carry them, im sure theres some here in the uk too (mostly SATA drives i think though which possible could be a problem for you)

    but they are in the harddrive sections of online shops possibly the best thing would be to have a look on amazon and the like and see if theres anything on there if that doesnt work id google it

    I take it you mean on TiVo(!?)
    If so get the cheapest large size possible (Stay away from Maxtor as I know several people that have had head crashes on recent Maxtor units)

    TiVo will recognize up to 120gb of the drive unless you do the hack to activate LBA48. I don't have any links to hand for that though.

    All that said you could be using Sky+ or some other unit...
