Halo2 stats all reset!!

Well Bungie have come up trumps again and reset everyones ranking. I know a lot of people will bitch about this but they will mainly be people who were cheating. I think its a great idea.

If you are good at Halo 2 and enjoy the game then I cant see a problem.

Have they managed to find a way to stop all the cheating???

If so, I might start playing again.

I got to 14 and then kept coming up against w@nkers who were obviously sh1t but knew how to do the modem hack.

yes i want them reset.

my mate got in the world rankings for head 2 head, he went from level 12 to level 19 in 8 hours.

have they reset the stats yet, i went to check on mine before but could i got a system error

The stats are now reset. The cheating patch has been applied. We gave it a good ole thrashing last night and most of the cheats are patched (thank god). It would seem you can still get on the roof of the base at Zanzibar but that may be because that person who did that hadn't updated at that point (It was a staged update)

The patch changed a load of other things too. Grenades are more powerful, pistol/smg combo isn't as accurate and the 'nades also have a shorter fuse. standby is pretty much erradicated and a few other bits'n'bobs. Check bungie.net for full details.

just checked my stats there still there, i'm still level 16 at head 2 head (without standbying)

hmmm... how weird. Mine appear to be back now... ah well I fuess this thread needs closing. I know Bungie are going to be resetting them very soon. Maybe they had problems and had to revert back.... who knows.
