    Question Name of a Program?

A few years ago I had a bit of software that you ran before any software installation, then after the instalation it told you what had changed, such as registry changes and files added.
But I cant remember what it was called, does anybody have a prog like this or know what its called?

Im sure it had REG in the title :nowords:

You might find something that performs a similar function on SysInternals.

Theres Cleansweep which does what you describe. Think it's part of Norton System Works.

But have a look on Tucows and get sommat of there. Even sourceforge will have sommat if you sommat for nowt.

Look for a prog called Install Watch Pro 25 , it takes a snap shot of what the pc was like before you install and then and snap shot of what it is like afterwards . It then tells u the changes ... great prog...

Could have sworn I replied to this before, thanks all for the help, that install watch pro looks like a good prog and Im gonna try that.
Tried a prog called regwatch which seemed ok but a little sluggish..
Dont really want to put anything 'Norton' in cause it always seems to give me grief, that sysinternal site seems canny also. Lastly I cant find anything in my firewall to do this.
Thanks all and karma on its way....
