Windows Media Player problem

Hi - sorry if this has been asked before, but I did a search and didn't find it.

Whenever I try to load a clip or audio stream in Windows Media format that is embedded in a web-page, it doesnt work. WMP just says "connecting to media" for a bit, then says "Ready" but does nothing. Sometimes you can look at the properties and get the address of the actual file/stream, but not always. I've tried updating to WMP 10, and even tried loading the pages in IE (usually use firefox) but it does nothing.

Any help would be appreciated

If i was you mate i would not use media player as all it does it cause problems and keeps on freezing. i have switched to VLC http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ or media player classic. these will both solve you problems. http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...ckage_id=84358
