    Help Proton

    :nowords: Anyone know anything about Protons i have heard some good stuff have been thinking of getting a persona or wira looks similar to a escort which is what i have know .Just wondered how they compare mpg an stuff cheers..:thumbs

    There cheaply built but surprisingly reliable.
    Not a very popular car so you do get a lot for your money with some nice extras, the 1300cc ones are slightly underpowered.
    A lot noisier on the road then your Escort will be due to poor soundproofing.

    Take one out for a spin and see what you reckon, personally I would have a look around first before I committed myself. If your after something Escort size and depending on your budget I would try out a Renault Megane.

    i have a puma cluttering up my driveway- we bought it as a cheap runaround while we were looking for our jaguar.

    that was mid last year - the car has been on ebay twice and in the local rag countless times and we only want £250. its an ok (reliable) car - but forget it when it comes to sell it, im going to dig a hole and bury the friggin thing soon
