    Default PDF format ??

Ive been sent a proof in PDF format that id quite like to alter but i assume that its been sent this way deliberatly by the printer so i have to go back to him if i want anything else done and he can then charge me for it.

He using a apple p.c so what format would he be using to edit my proof in?
Im off to a place of worship and wont be back till closing time

To edit the document you have, you will need the full version of Adobe Acrobat.

Just because the proof was sent to you in this format, it doesn't mean that the original work has been created using this software.

you can set up pdf as a printer driver, so he could have made it in almost any software that allows printing, then just printed it to a pdf file (thats a kinda wierd idea, but instead of making a paper copy of the file it makes a pdf one, as apposed to the standard file format of the software, making a printer driver like this is a good idea cos all programs can support them)

As I said before, just because you have the document in PDF format, it doesn't follow that he used that software to create it in the first place.
I can type a letter up in MS Word and create a PDF from it if I so choose.

    Anyone got a link please?
    A link to what??

I actually guessed what the OP was hinting at TwoPlanks, I was just waiting for him to confirm it so I could HOS him.

Still, now that you have fucked up my little game for the day I suppose I will have to find something else to do instead :nono
