    Default Azureus problem

I can connet to torrents and i think they are downloading but i dont get any progress reports as to the amount ive shared or downloaded. I have bypassed my wireless router and i can test the listening port 6881 and it now says ok so i know thats not the problem. I have switched off the firewall in xp (sp2) and disabled my norton antivirus.

I get the status saying downloading and the rate fluctuates from 0 to 100+b/s and uploading of values 0 to 110 b/s.

But why no progress report ? Any suggestions or is it running correct.

If you've just updated Azureus there's a thread running already - update your Java runtime to the latest version and see if that helps.

sometimes it can be the case that 6881 is incorrect. More exclusive trackers blacklist this port and will allow you to use nearly any port, normally in the 10000's for the tracker. So where did you get the torrent from, check the origin of the torrent?

ok updated the java software and it now gives me the information so i assume that was the major problem. Now ive switched bact to running via my wireless router it works still and gives me update but i still get this nat problem which i thought i could cure by just opening the ports. IT doesnt give me that port number as a default like port 21 or port 80 so i made 1 up. If that makes sense
