Seems alright to me, id get it.

Id recommend getting York dumbells, cast iron ones, not the shite plastic ones, i have them at home, just do a few sets at night and in the morning before i go to the gym.

It does the job m8 but 1 thing you need to know if makes a bloody awful racket if used up-stairs in a room..It tends to move about a little unless plenty of weight on it..But I would suggest if possible m8 to get a bag for your garage/loft etc and hang it from the rafters. As they are more stable and no need for any weights to hold it.Just a case of wrapping it securely round them...Check out your local rag as I have said a few times before m8.you will be surprised at the amount of free weights people are selling becasue they buy them then shove them into a cupboard..
saves a fair bit of cash too m8 and if you end up not useing them, well didnt cost you that much anyway...But try n see if you could use the garage or loft providing its secure enough ..Dont want you up in the loft hitting the bag to go through the ceiling now...lol
But like Andy said dont buy those shitty plastic ones, gets the iron ones, far better and at least the weights will be correct.

3x30 mins cardio a week and cutting down on calories is all you need to do.
