Media Player Locking Up My PC

I have upgraded to WMP 10 and found that it now locks up my PC when ever I try to play a file.

I uninstalled it and rolled back to WMP 9.0 but it still does it. It also affects nero vision.

Can anyone help?? :nowords:

I had a similar problem with mp3 files.

I fixed it by going to the File Association menu in Explorer>Tools>Folder Options>File Types and deleted the association.

Then I doubled clicked any mp3 file and re-associatied through the windows wizard.
