Default Emails on a home network.

    Hello again

I have 3 PC's and a Mac (not mine...) on my home network.

Is it possible to have the emails available on each machine without having to set each one up separately?

I guess what I am looking for is for 1 machine to be a SMTP server and the others get the emails via the server?

You can set up an SMTP server on one of your machines, you will have to do some reading but here are a couple of links:

    http://www.postcast.com/default.asp
    http://www.mailenable.com/ (freeware version available)
And if your really worried about loosing emails then here is a free MX backup server site:
    http://www.rollernet.us

I've downloaded the apps but just not had time to try them out, if you do use these why not create a 'how to guide' for everyone else interested? :thumbs

    Cheers bugmonsta.

It will probably be the weekend after this one when I set this up. I'll glady to a FAQ to help others.
