    Default Headphone socket?

Hi, if I plug headphones into my headphone socket of my HP TC1100 tablet PC then the music just carries on playing through the speakers as if I had done nothing. Is the port definately faulty and will it need to go back? Does any body know anything about HP warranties?

Afraid it looks like a dodgy port. As far as I can see, there is no setting you have to enable to autoswitch to earphones. It should do that itself.

    Bummer!

If it's within the 1 year warrenty, take it back to the store for a replacement. If it's outside the year, HP should replace or fix it for you FOC up to about 3 years into its life (you'll probably have to pay postage).
