graphics card problem help needed

ok here goes i bought a brand new radeon 9500 card off ebay (dumb i know)
installed it and everyhting fine BUT after a while all i get is black screen and i have to reboot pc its really annoying now if i take the card out and put in my old radeon 9600 no probs at all no black screen i know the 9500 is powered but i have a good psu in the case so it cant be power the guy is saying card is fine could it be anything else

id look at the cooling if its doing it during game play when the cards getting a beating then i would say the fan might need replacing.
do u have lots of cards in the pci slots creating more heat too try spacing them out

was the box sealed when you got it ? are you able to rma it ? ive had a few new graphics cards where the stock fans works loose during shipping , they are usually crappy fans anywaywith weak plastic screws holding them on, if you confident take the fan off and reaseat with some fresh heatsink compound ,this assumes your not able to return it
also worht updating the latest drivers for the card the ones that came with it are most likely out of date worth trying
