you need to get the cable which goes into the serial port of a pc, then you can set all this through the cliffnet programme, if your every down south I would do it for free for you..

    try this: http://www.clifford.com/g5/wizard/default.asp

you also need the valet code to allow the wizard to connect to your alarm system.

Have you got the 16 button master remote the one that has the carbon effect?

If so you could try this (this is what I do on my Clifford Concept 500, it could be the same):

Disarm alarm and click button on side of the remote 3 times, then press the the little left button, the system should beep and now its in the mode to adjust the interior proximity by using the left and right buttons, left to make it less sensitive and right to make it more (it will make higher pitched sounds the higher the setting.). Press the bottom button to enter exterior proximity mode, use the same left right buttons to tweek it, once you are finished press the big top button once and it'll beep 3 times, then press it again to exit program mode and it'll beep 3 times again.

    Hope it helps.

the remotes are programmed by the installer, usually to the owners request, as a general rule, normally only the top 4 buttons are programmed, button on the side is like a shift key which changes the settings of the top buttons for each side press.

PS something really funny, if you've got cliffnet then you can upload new siren sounds to your car in .WAV format (under 72kb)... mine does a simpsons if you get too close..

the adapter is the issue, if you are not a dealer you will have some probs getting it, expect to pay £45+ for it though... I'll see if I can take mine apart and we can work out what is what although I seem to remember it's got a black box in the wire with a chip in it.

Ah well should have some fun when this cable arrives, cheers anyway SwissTony
