Please excuse my ignorance but wtf is G14, I have never heard of it before yet it seems to be cropping up all the time in threads here.
Plus if it counts for anything Liverpool MUST be in the CL next year.
A competition without the holders defending it is a farce, but then again so is EUFA, and especially Fat Blatter

basicly its the 18 (no longer 14) rich clubs, ganging up to see how they can make themselves richer whilst buttfucking everyone else :grr:

But at the end of the day, EUFA have the final say. So do you really think that all these clubs would back Liverpool up and veto the competition next year if it came to it ? Like fuck they would, too much money involved

just passing on the info you requested, not argueing the case in point either way, but ask yourself this, which would get more revenue, the champions league without those 18 teams or a "superleague" with those 18 teams (+ maybe a few more invites), once you've answered that one you'll see that they do have quite a bit of power

Well it is actually based on sucess, and with their backing I am not 90% sure we will be there to defend our title as Champions of Europe next season!

G14 were and still are a selection of the greatest and most succesful clubs in the World, never mind Europe. When they last threatened to form a breakaway league UEFA had to re-write the rule book, because they knew that a tournament without the G14 would be farce.

With G14 backing Liverpool have an excellent chance of defending their tournament next season!

Liverpool didnt defend the UEFA cup they won the other year.
