Question Samsung D500 - phonebook transfer

    Hi Guys.... & Gals,

Just wondering if anyone has come across this same problem.

I have just purchased a Samsung D500. I've tried to send my entire Phone book via bluetooth from my SonyEricsson T610 to the D500 but each time it only copies over the first contact in my phone book.

I mean I was able to transfer my entire phone book via bluetooth to my P910i but for some reason the D500 doesn't accept it. I have to resort to sending my contacts 1 by 1.

    Any suggestions ????

Save them to the sim card first m8,,, you shouldnt really keep them all in the handset, because if the handset fails you may lose them all. Whereas if they are on the sim, well its harder to break a sim than a handset m8.

I had the same problem with the same two phones (T610 to D500) - but when I tried my Motorola V525 to my D500, it worked fine. If you have a bluetooth dongle, just do it via your PC - there's software on the Samsung website that'll do it.

    Thanks guys...

Cheers roger I'll check the website out.

Termy.... I keep then on my phone cos its synchronised with my PC so won't lose them. Also you can't keep all details under one name on the Sim.

For eg. If i stored Termy on my sim there would be a separate entry for your mobile no, separate entry for your home number and separate entry for email.

Storing on the phone allows you to keep all details in 1 record.
