well i want to take the family to Turkey in october what i want to know is what the best way to get a holiday there .ie teletext or on the net.. who has had good holidays and what should i aviod..

Independent travel agencies are the best option.
reasons being
they will check everything, all opperators and know who is the best for your situation.
should the shit hit the fan while your out there you can call someone and they will sort it out, who can you call when you book it yourself?

Yes it will be slightly more expensive but you are paying for knowledge and peice of mind.

A good one in Liverpool I know is Travelwise International on Dale Street or use the www.advantage4travel.com site to find a more local one.

The Thomas cooks, first choice and the other bigger high street chains are tied in to an opperator and will always try to sell their holidays because they get better commision, the independants get comision from everyone some slightly more but not like the non independants so they dont care who they send you away with. I also know a company that deals with the teletext calls for many of the different opperators if you want their number let me know.
