Laptop Suggestions?

After about a week of searching, I have not been able to find a suitable laptop that meets my needs.

What I want on the laptop are, and these are important.
Built in Wirelass Networking,
Bluetooth,
Serial Port,
Paralell Port,
DVD-Rewriter.

The CPU, Memory, hdd etc are not really too important, but the higher spec the better. I am looking to spend between £600 - £700.

Any suggestions guys.

It doesn't have blootooth (dongles are cheap) and I'm not sure it has a paralell port (can't you use usb?), but otherwise it's damn fine laptop. :-)

Any ACER laptop is good, i got the 1360 version and im very happy with it can even play half life 2 on it

I've got an Acer Aspire 1683WLMi and that's been great for me. Slightly more than you're looking but there are cheaper models that would do the trick.

It doesn't have blootooth (dongles are cheap) and I'm not sure it has a paralell port (can't you use usb?), but otherwise it's damn fine laptop. :-)

Thanx for the suggestions guys, and as for the parralell port,,,, yes m8 I need one. I need it for my mobile phone cables (Terminator Dongle etc)

I also need a serial for phone datacables, as I am not sure if the USB to Serial cables work well enough.

I shall continue my search for the perfect laptop,,, lol.

I have just received the above laptop and must admit it is awesome.

But the only drawback is that it doesnt have a serial port,,, but I am going to try thr USB - serial adaptor out to see if it is suitable.

I got a Dell Inspiron from DellOutlet - you can pick up some bargains there. Some of the Dell laptops even still have serial ports plus bluetooth etc.

People seem to dis Dell, but I like them (maybe not their customer service though).

I can now confirm that the USB ro Serial adaptors do work if you change the port numbers,,, lol. It is now fully working with all my cables etc.
