Series 1 of Deadwood was ace, deserved every award it claimed. Mcshane is the star of the show and steals it in every episode!

I initially laughed at the idea of Lovejoy playing a hard as nails cocksucker.

But after 5 mins of the first episode, I forgot he ever played lovejoy......Swearingen all the way!!

Not enjoying the second series as much as the first but can't put my finger on why. Still, got it on series link 'cos I'd hate to miss it. Failed to record one episode but fortunately caught up with the repeat on Mix. Calamity Jane wants kicking out IMO - no story line there at all.

Yeah I know what you mean, 2nd series just didnt seem to go anywhere apart from swearengin have his cock blocked... Just confused me after that, didnt know what was going on...
