last straw DF Banned!

Hi,
For some months now the assholes in my company's IT dept have been filtering various websites out from our browsing. Usuals being national-lottery as gambling, Ladbrokes etc

Today i tried to log on to DF and was told that it was blocked because it was PORN!!

So I Googled on "bypass smartfilter", found a site and clicked on it only to be blocked again. Reason = Criminal knowledge.

What a bunch of twats.

My backup plan is to use my mobile as a modem but any other way I can get around these nanny assholes?

couple of old school methods are to find online proxify sites that aint being filtered.

or use the google translation page, get a german translation link to english, then change the URL to the site you want.

not greatly effective for browsing an entire site tho.

Yep sorry. I just got off a delayed train and was in rant mode with that post.
I am looking at a prog called "circumventor" which is basically "set up a proxy at home" and use that. Ha HA!

But if anyone else has any suggestions please chip in.

radmin, remote administrator allows you to access your home pc and see whats on its screen in a window

of course if you happen to use your home pc to access df then its displayed on your works pc

Mines does the same m8 and the way I get around it is,logging into the web page www.s105883597.websitehome.co.uk as Digital-forums is blocked my end and that seems to work no probs

.Obviously its hard to remember that,so what I do is goggle my username,in English results only and then scrool down to the above site and takes me straight in.....Sorted,well for the time being:nowords:

If not use an online anoni proxy browser e.g.:

http://sbp.sufferingfools.net

There are much much better out there but I used this one before.

another remote desktop prog is vnc which can be setup to be used via web broswer (just an ip(hard to block a changeing ip) or if u have a domain point part of that. to ya ip (if it doesnt change)
