Hey guys,

After recent posts of members being ungrateful, getting banned, and generally being twats - i thought id post this thread to openly thank a member of this board for his pure generosity.

I recently posted asking for a faulty xbox to open up and play about with.

10 posts in to that thread i was getting no where and it seemed a lost cause so i gave up and closed it.

Minutes later i got a PM from a member - saying they had missed the thread, but has a xbox he no longer needs and if i wanted it - it was mine.

After a few PMs he assured me it was no problem at all, he wanted nothing for it and if i would just cover postage he would be more than happy to send it to me.

Needless to say a xbox package turned up on my doorstep this morning :thumbs

I cant stress to him how appreciative i am,

but what i can do is say a BIG thank you to 'Dfer' for sorting me out and being a quality member. :thumbs

was lucky mate.

run down, glassy eyed and saw the bloke in the big red van writing on a box, as u do, i thought it was the xbox and a 'no ones home' job.

i shouted over to him "im here im here"

to which he pointed down... and drove off.

he was going to leave it on me doorstep
