Clicky:coffee: Who wants one??
yeah been making the rounds last couple of days, nice to see a company diving in the deep end with a new technology and not going in slow with minor upgrades every once in a while, how much will it be though? 40-70 a month?

interesting, but you cant actually see any details yet...Don't cease to innovate.
Don't give me less than the best.
And don't ever cap my dreams.
it does say somewhere to email them and they will email you the details (takes 48 hours to reply)
and wtf would they need my details for exactly? why cant they just put the info on the site.
im sure somone else who's mailed can paste the contents..
There's quite a bit of info on their news release page http://www.bethere.co.uk/news_release.html and http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/07/01/broadband_be
ive only just got 8mb
24mb is a bit much imo for residents no?
ADSL 2+ will support 24Mbps Down and 2Mb Up however this is a bonded service over 2 lines and neither will support voice. the 24Mbps service will not be a residential offering imo
major you not read up on this? the guy backing it is the uy who brought supar fast speeds to residents in sweden, ofcourse it'll be residential thats the whole point of it, also all isp's will be mving to adsl2/+ so dont worry to much if you are in a long contract like my 12month contract with uko as most likely uko will bring out their own adsl2/+ offerings at same time

In Australia it's residential and for about 30GB of downloads a month for 24MB/s it is $59.95 AUD a month.
30gb / month is abit shit for such a connection :/

Surely once the current cards are swapped out with the new DSL2 cards then 8M will be the norm. Considering that none of the ISP's are paying for this upgrade, we should see an increase on our bills from 2 - 8M..... but that is in a perfect world and we know that wont happen. Although F2S are keeping the same price with a one-off connection charge for existing 2M users.

Well Ive registered so well see what comes back.
I expect the more people who show interest by registering then the quicker things will get upgraded .
There are 3 types of people in the world - those who make things happen, those who watch things happen; and those who wondered what happened.

Conservatives. Putting the 'N' into Cuts.
they didnt have a good start.
Their priv policy was stolen from another ISP. Cannot remember which one exactly.
Its been sorted out now, but not a good start if u ask me.
stolen from bulldog but they apologized a couple hours later and fixed it... I know alot of isp's who would have taken a couple of days
