    Default format HDD

    hi

    i got some old pc's that im going to sell but before i do i need to completely wipe the HDD's i know with normal formatting data can still be recovered but i remember a program out to completely wipe it so no data can be retrieved, just want to do it as i dont know how many of my details could be on the pc, thanks in advance for any help

    Back in my days, a low level format used to be all you need....

    Try this util from seagate - it fills your drives with zeros so any undelete/restore will show nothing!
