Fantastic Four

I won't waste my time giving a synopsis, you all know the score, it's a superhero film and this time it's about the fantastic four.

It was abysmal. Utter garbage. The only highpoint is the supreme fitness of Alba. The guy off Cellular wasn't bad and had charisma to spare in contrast with my compatriot Ioan Gruffudd who was a total non-entity.

It was pants. There is no way there is a franchise coming out of this piece of shit.

2/10 and that's only for Jessica Alba being so godamn shaggable.

Trailers were rubbish and so was the film. Got it for the missus and she thought it was ok. But what does she know, I have banished her back to the kitchen.

that actually sounds like a good idea. In the past few months i've been noticing the big differences between cinema watched and home watched.

TBH, i've downloaded a fantastic 4 copy, and it was so shite i wouldn't bother watching it....real review will be in when its out in the uk cinemas.

FYI Saw this in a cinema in Thailand. I wouldn't submit a review of a bad quality pirate, you can't really rate a film fairly if the quality is poor.

I enjoyed it for what it was, after reading the thread starters comments beforehand I wasn't expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. It's not the greatest comic adaptation by any means, neither has it got the most convicing cgi but it still held my attention for the duration and as a little bit of escapism it worked ok.

even on decent original dvd/ big telly you do not get the impact you get at the cinema......

Just watched this last night.

To be honest after reading these reviews i exprected a shit movie. But i found it not to be too bad, just could have been executed a little better.

7/10 (maybe its just because i'm in a good mood!)

I also didnt think it was that bad. I enjoyed it, for what it was. Still think the Spiderman films are the best to come out of the super hero action films.

This film tho, was just a good watch I say, nothing special, worth a watch at least!

Have to say i was never a big fan of the fantastic 4 as a kid (was a godzilla man lol), anyhow watched this with the kids and have to say that they loved it, i thought it average.

Give me the X-Men anyday.

somone tell me how the fuck the 2 other dudes got across the bridge... thats the kinda crap that let it down. i dont mind all the impossible feats and stuff like that, cos its a superhero film ffs lol, but things like that when they go "ok you go through the crowd because you are invisible".. firstly everyone just stands around while some bird flashes invisible and back again... then she pushes through the police who have just watched her as if they havent noticed a thing then suddenly the other 2 guys appear on the other side of the bridge with her... eh? also loads of continuity errors and stuff.. lets it down imho.

Another point I think is daft is,

When 'The Thing' goes into the machine and gets transformed back into the Thing again. If it was that easy to become a superhero, then why dont everyone go in and get some superhuman powers?! Its just a little ... ridiculous.

i thoguht it was better than expected reading all your reviews i actually enjoyed watching the movie it had good comedy momements i was a little disapointed with the short ended action scene but overall it was good i enjoyed to watch.
And yes jessica alba looks really good lol, if you dont like the movie just go watch her instead
