      Default Broken mboard battery slot

      Hi. I was a bit of an idiot, and when fixing a PC, which needed a new CMOS battery, I snapped the holder. Does anyone know how to fix it without getting a whole new motherboard?

      How badly is it?

      You could always solder it back on, but this depends on how it is setup and how badly you have broken it!
