    Help Wireless network problem

Got small network with one wireless attached.
Was having connection probs so got signal booster, now the wireless PC keeps getting disconnected with 'Invalid IP address' message.
Then get message 'renewing IP address assigned by DHCP, automatic private address'.
Any help on getting this thing permanently connected would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance

Right instead of having it get IP automatically generated I've manually set it so it fits in with rest of the network.
Now it can connect ot internet & network etc no problem - that is when its connected.
It can take hours to connect but when its connected its fine for hours.
Anybody explain why or help please
    Thanks in advance

When it does connect, how stong is the signal strength?
Do you have any video senders, or anything else wireless(headphones etc) that could be operating on the same band.
Change the output channel on the wireless router, try channel 1, then try channel 11 (or 13 depending on firmware), see if it makes any difference.
If you are operating already on Channel 13 make sure wireless network card is set to Country code UK, US is usually default , and this only goes to Ch 11.

    Thanks for help m8.
Set to channel 11 already, did notice that for some reason it had the 'disconnect when battery power low' box checked.
Just wondering if that may be reason - even tho its powered by mains.
Signal strength is strong & been connected since 9.30 this morning no probs, took 3 hours to get connected tho!!!
