I think De Niro's ability to do comedy as well as serious acting roles is what in my opinion makes him the better actor in the whole De Niro vs Pacino debate.

He was also superb in Analyse This although I thought the sequel, Analyse That was a pile of piss.

I loved Meet The Parents, they created so many cringeworthy moments perfectly. But I watched Meet The Fokkers a few nights ago (I was really looking forward to it) and I was a bit disappointed. The humour was a bit too obvious for me. There was some good funny bits, one line that I remember is when Gay is complaining to his mum about the vigorous massage she gave Jack he says "you were riding him like Seabiscuit".
Maybe I expected too much, the hype can screw up a film sometimes.

i dont really like any of the modern comedy actors, they all seem to rely on the same jokes over and over, people like gene wilder and richard prior, you could piss yourself laughing at those 2 without them even saying a word

I always thought John Candy(R.I.P.) was funny, and Chevy Chase is quality in the National Lampoon's series. Usually funny people aren't good looking. These two can make you feel sorry for them as well.
