    Default defragging to order?

Hi, can anyone tell me if there is any freeware available to defrag all the drives on my machine (XP Pro) one after the other without intervention on my part, the XP defragging prog makes you select a drive and stops when that drive is finished. And if it could be scheduled, that would be even better.

    Thanks in advance.

I dont know about freeware programs but you could create a basic batch file (LONG LIVE DOS) with the following defrag options as it will do the first one, then it should continue to the next when it has finished.

    defrag c:
    defrag d:
    defrag e:

On the downside the XP defrag is shite and if you want to get the most out of your drive then try another util, I use O&O defrag but its not freeware.

Oh, is it really that simple? Thanks for that. I dont use the built in defragger either, I use DIRMS (Do It Right MicroSoft!!). But I will give that a whirl anyway.

And then I should be able to schedule the batch file in Scheduled Tasks. I hope
