    Tech Sat-nav In London

    Went to london yesterday using the navman icn510, got there no prob right in the heart of london where the venue was, On the way back it took 45mins to get a signal and when it did it was confused slightly, once out of central london it was fine, any1 else experiance similar probs while in london with any portable sat-nav?

    Yup normal.. due to all the built up area..

    nothing much you can do about it apart from get a propert in-car navigation device which is connected to the speed sensor so the unit can guess/predict where you are when you lose signal..

    check out the forums on w*w.pocketgps.com lots and lots of people have the same issues with the "handheld" devices, the only solution is an external aerial but even that doesn't work very well..
