My System

Yay! I sold the spare CPU + Ram today to a friend, well im building him a gaming rig with the parts.

So my system is going to be S939. I already have the processor which cost me £131.50 inc. postage.

AMD Athlon 3500 64-bit

Now I was thinking of getting this motherboard: Abit AV8 3rd Eye for £77.49 (over clockers).

I was wondering what ram you would suggest for this system, it has to be 2.5v, i am looking for around a 1gb matched. But i was wondering can I buy 1x stick of 512mb, and when I have more money buy another 512mb, if so would they still be matched if their the same?

Now I was wondering where you all get your PC parts, as I am going to be building this rig under though my business, and maybe even getting the parts trade. So could be cheaper still.

So basically I was wondering what board and ram you suggest for this system, its going to be used for my business, college work (C++, VB, etc) and my website/gfx design.

Oh I was also thinking maybe to get a motherboard that supports PCI-E, but not sure which one, so any suggestions on PCI-E boards would be nice too
