Could you travel to London to do it? We are sending an engineer on this course next week. Lets hope he passes as he's no previous experience in networks. I guess it depends if your company is funding or if you are funding it.

Yeah, not a problem. I work at Heathrow so London is close by, but still a pain to get to. My company should be funding it.

    Cheers.

I'll let you know if he passes. He starts on Monday and its 8 days so will know in a couple of weeks Can't get much of a better recommendation than that! The office is near Kings Cross so shouldn't be many tube changes from Heathrow.

QA is your best bet as advised above, or firebrand training but i think they are also London.

Let us know hoe you get on

Nikki - just wondering do you have experience of Firebrand? I was thinking of them a while ago for ms certs as someone at work recommended them (he wasn't IT but knew a firebrand director). I thought about it but then decided I may as well have a bash with the books at home after hearing the prices.

Now that I'm very seriously thinking about it and seeing the size of the books I'm gonna have to go through, I'm thinking their prices don't sound that bad considering they were talking about short residential courses.

However I don't need them to get a job/promotion, I more want to do it to gain a deep and through understanding and I'm thinking they will just concentrate on likely questions as there will be no time to read around subjects so was wondering if you had any actual experience of them.
