    Default Windows Clock running fast??

    Hi all,

I have a strange problem which appears to have been going on for a couple of months now?

Last week I plugged my mobile into he PC to grab some photo's etc.. when I plug my phone into the PC it syncs the time, emails etc.... from the PC.

Like most people I use my mobile phone as an alarm, the following day my alarm went off, I got ready and left the flat to goto work. My Car clock was 15 mins out? So I changed it. I then got to work 15 mins early? (see where I'm going with this....). It wasn't until I checked the clocks at work etc... that I realised my PC clock at home was fast? Now i've changed it back 3 or 4 times now, i'm running a legit copy of XP Pro and it is only recently this has happened/happening?

ANyone have any ideas, if not does anyone have any software that will sync thw PC clock with a clock elsewhere?

    Cheers.

XP can synchronise to the windows time server. I thought this was on by default?

Try double-clicking the clock and look at the "internet time" tab.

Cheers guys i will look at this tonight.

I'm running XP Pro (Legit) on my Main PC and XP Home (Legit) on my laptop. Both are pretty identical in way of software and both have latest M$ updates etc... but just the main one doing it.

Right the Windows one works a treat, the only thing is it only does it every three days or so.

The atomic one looks good but having problems with that and my Firewall.

    Any other suggestions?
