Advice On Hooking Up A Amp?

hi,

ok i got a 2 legacy 250w 4 channel amps and 2 x 12" 325 maystar subs i bought off the good man roy off this forum,

im going to have a go hooking it all up tommorow however this being my first time ive hooked up a 4 channel amp need some pointers please how i hook everythink up,

i want to hook each amp up to 1 x 12" maystar subs & 1 tweeter but unsure where i connect to as theres 8 outputs on the amp as well as a electronic crossover,

ok to start off with for a sub, your amp must have a low pass crossover or you must also have a seperate crossover, cant see from that pic if it has one or not ....

heres some other pictures maybe it will help mate, it has a electronic crossover,

also am i right the sub+ and _ connect to these points?

and if i want to run some tweeters do i just connect same way as sub just other 4 channels next to it? same as in picture below ?

right if your sub is 4 ohm, run it using the two channel bridged method (channels 1 and 2)

for chans 1 & 2 you want bass boost on, set the lpf (low pass filter) switch and turn the high pass pot off and the low pass pot up as far as you need (acts like the volume control).

as for the tweeters, connect them one each to channels 3 and 4, select hpf (high pass filter) turn up the high pass pot and turn off the low pass pot (fully to the left should be off m8)

Personally, I would run the two subs off the amp in bridged mode (as per your first diagram). I would run the tweeters off your head unit output... you don't need a amp for tweeters
