try this (if the option is already enabled, its prolly somehting not quite as simple as this):
view > video size:
tick - fit video to player on resize
blob - 100%
Thanks for your reply marcode.
Unfortunately its not that . Ive tried it
Further investigation has revealed that this fault only occurs on avi file not mpg files
I,m thinking maybe a codec fault somewhere.
I,m getting the same fault exactly when i open the avi videos with Powerdvd.
my media 10 player dosnt allow me to burn music onto disk so i just got the old 1 back
when you say bottom left hand corner do you mean in the media bar or in the main master window in windows media player?
in the main master window.
on both media player & powerdvd
Does anyone have media player 9 for xp
microsoft doesent have it on thier site for xp anymore.
Thanks
try googling
I have stolen money from a DF member and a member of Disqworld. All my personal details including families details are on file and will be made public to everyone if I do not refund the money I stole or send the goods I promised. My name will be ravaged across the net and the consequences will be severe if I do not sort this fucking mess out.
does it look like it's only showing one area of the screen and the rest is all off screen?Originally Posted by REPAIRMAN
I had this problem once and it was down to my video drivers. To fix it I just got the lastest drivers for my card and maybe the latest directX (can't hurt to get these anyway) and also checked the resolution (it was on my TV out) the whole thing was quite odd only showing a small area of the whole video but after I did that it all went away.
if u can't do it try this maybe:
Media player classic (v6)
or load mplayer2.exe from program files\windows media player I'm not sure but I think these are the same version, not all pc's seem to have it though.
then there's always a different player. WMP is OK but I do like VLC it's a good, small, powerful app
or PowerDVD - another good one
