Looks like the winner was watching the auction very carefully. Winning bid within 14 secs of the auction ending.

come on amatures, it's well easy to snipe an auction in the last seconds. you just gotta have two firefox tabs open (sometimes three) with different bids. Use the first to refresh and countdown to about 10 seconds and then the second to have your highest bid waiting to be confirmed. (if you want extra security have a third with an even higher bid).

When you get to 10 seconds on the countdown tab flick to the second tab and count to 8 in your head, then click confirm. if you are doing two simply count to 6 then confirm one and then quickly confirm the other.

if you bid the right cash your only problem is spending too much money on ebay

as for this auction, that was a great deal for the winner. gutted for you DJN

Alernatively you can just use some sniping software that does all the hard work for you.

If you've all got good sniping software feel free to post a thread in the ebay section with it's details.

I've looked at one once and wasn't prepared to enter my ebay id/pass....maybe they've changed now?
