Drayton manor, last time i was there, cheep bands, get you in all rides, and a big lake, so you could take a picnic.

Bristol Zoo is pretty funny. I went there not long ago...they have two majassive gorillas, a mommy and a daddy with a baby gorilla.
paradise wildlife park at broxbourne family ticket 30 quid ??? took the kids there saturday, was a good day out but take yer own picnic if your goin as the foods expensive...

take em to hastings the towns a bit shit but theres the sea life center, the castle or great walks on the cliff
would of been better if you said where you live.
then we can aim our suggestions at places that wont take you 12 hours of travelling
