Svens formation

Ben reading in the papers and ceefax sven plans the 4 - 5 - 1 formation, just wondering what thoughts you guys have on it?

i would of preffered 442 with defoe and rooney up front

i think its svens way of keeping beckham and swp in the team...

Also can seperate Lampard and Gerrard as using Becks as holding midfielder

I think it is a disaster waiting to happen you cant play 5 in midfield for England as it becomes to tight narrow through the middle, plus rooney will start dropping deep and we will then have 6 in midfield with no ruddy strikers.

my personal opinion is play 4-4-2 deofe and rooney up front, and drop beckham and lampard/gerrard, replace them with SWP and Michael Carrick.

Take a Gamble Sven stop being so safe.

I agree with using Carrick as DM, hes a great player!!

But also If he sticks with 4-5-1, thats fine as long as he puts Rooney on left wing.. That boy can play anywhere..
